Debate on Nanomedicine

WORKSHOP 3 "NANOMEDICINE & NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY"

This workshop represents a confluence of nano, bio, and medicine. Nanomedicine has potential impact on the prevention, early diagnosis and effective treatment of diseases. Nanomaterials with novel physical, chemical and biological properties can be used for potential applications in drug delivery systems, medical diagnosis, and treatment of cancer, cardiovascular, neurological disorders.
The Workshop on Nanomedicine & Nanobiotechnology has the goal of fostering research, collaboration and providing advanced training in Nanomedicine and applications of nanotechnology in biological sciences.
It  will serve as a forum for nano-bio-technologists and medical doctors to exchange knowledge and expertise for advancing the medical and biological research. It will feature the state-of the art scientific development in the emerging Nanomedicine & Nanobiotechnology field.

The main topics of the Workshop are:

  • Fundumentals of  Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology Research

  • Advanced Bio Nano Materials for Medical & Biological applications

  • Nanoscale Medical Imaging

  • Nanobiosensors & Diagnostics

  • Monitoring Bio and Non-Bio Interactions

  • Targeted drug delivery

  • Regenerative medicine

  • Nanomedicine in Oncology & Neurological Disorders

  • Nanomedicine in Cardiovascular Research

  • Nanodentistry

  • Nanotoxicology & Bioethics
