The Summer School, including the attendance in the NN09 Conference, will review the current state of knowledge in the diverse fields of Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies (NN). SS-NN09 will introduce nanotechnology and other emerging technologies such as organic electronics & nanomedicine, aiming on the training of the next-generation researchers in the multidisciplinary fields of NN. The successful organization of the 1st and 2nd International Summer School on “Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies” (SS-NN07 & SS-NN08) in the last two years resulted in the participation of 55 students from 23 countries. The participants attended lectures given by frontline researchers and professors.

The SS-NN09 includes lectures by distinguished scientists on the current trends in the field of NN and state-of-the-art techniques, as well as a demonstration-tour in the laboratory facilities for developing and characterising nanoscale materials. We expect that the SS-NN09 would be a gate way for innovative high-tech ideas coming from enthusiastic young researchers.

Also just 3 days before the beginning of SS09, the 2nd International Symposium for Organic Electronics (IS-FOE) (8-10 July), will be held at Halkidiki (about an hour away). Combining your attendance to the SS-NN09 with the IS-FOE will give you a great opportunity to gain an insight in today’s state of the art and the top advances on the field of Organic Electronics from experts from all aroud the globe !!!
